I booked the Velvet Hour before a wedding weekend and genuinely considered cancelling the wedding to stay in the quiet room.

Rituals for slowing down
Tucked behind a quiet courtyard, Velvet & Sage is a place to put the week down for a while. Warm hands, botanical oils, and treatments that never watch the clock.
Open seven days · Walk-ins welcome when the kettle's on
Our philosophy
Beauty, at the pace of a deep breath
We opened Velvet & Sage with one stubborn belief: a treatment should feel less like an appointment and more like an exhale.
Every ritual here begins the same way — warm towels, a cup of sage and honey tea, and a few unhurried minutes to arrive. Our therapists blend each oil by hand from a small shelf of botanicals we trust, and nothing on our menu is rushed to fit a timeslot.
You will not find fluorescent lights or piped-in playlists. Just low lamplight, linen, the smell of eucalyptus, and people who are very good with their hands.
Give an hour back
The gift of doing nothing, beautifully
Velvet & Sage gift cards arrive in a linen envelope with a sprig of dried eucalyptus. Choose $75, $120, or $210 — the full Velvet Hour. Valid for any treatment, never expiring, always welcome.
Guest stories
Words from the quiet room
Jonah found a knot in my shoulder that I'd been carrying since roughly 2021. I walked out two inches taller and weirdly emotional about it.
The scalp ritual is the closest thing to pressing pause on your own brain. I've given three gift cards this year and kept two for myself.
