Your data, straight talk

Everything FitX1 does with your personal information, in the same plain English we use on the gym floor. The short version: we collect the minimum, we keep it briefly, and we sell nothing.

Who we are

FitX1 Fitness & Wellness is the “data fiduciary” – the business responsible for your information – under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We trade from 2nd Floor, Aashvi, No. 7 & 8, Hope Farm Junction, Channasandra Main Road, Bengaluru 560066 and 4th & 5th Floor, Sunyuga I-Square, Pipeline Road, Puppalaguda, Manikonda, Hyderabad 500089. What we collect, and why

The free trial form asks for your name, mobile number, email, which gym and programme you want, and anything you choose to put in the notes box. We use those details to do exactly one thing: reply, book you in and meet you at the desk. We rely on the consent you give by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time.

No marketing lists. Booking a trial day signs you up to nothing. We contact you about the visit you asked for, and that is where it ends.
No selling, no sharing. Your details are never sold, swapped or passed to anyone else. No exceptions, no “partner offers”, and your number does not go to a call centre.
Phone, email and WhatsApp threads are kept only as long as they are useful for sorting your query. Messages you send on WhatsApp are also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.

Your body composition data, honestly Your scan results – weight, body fat, muscle mass – and any injury or medical note you give a trainer are health information, and we treat them that way. They sit in your member record, are read only by the trainers who actually coach you, are never posted anywhere, and are never used in marketing. Progress photos are yours: we will not publish one unless you ask us to, in writing. Tell the desk and we will delete any of it, whenever you like.

How long we keep it

Enquired but didn’t join: your form details are deleted within three months of our last exchange.
Members: kept while you are a member, deleted within twelve months of your membership ending – we hold your old rate for the year we promise to honour it, then that goes too.
Payments and invoices: Indian tax and GST rules require every business to keep financial records for several years. Yours are no exception, and they are kept separately from your training data.

Cookies: none

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser – no analytics, no tracking pixels, no ad-tech, nothing in localStorage. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Two honest footnotes: our fonts load from Google Fonts, and the maps on the contact page load from OpenStreetMap. Both mean your browser makes a request to their servers, which – like any web request – includes your IP address. Nothing else on this site talks to a third party.

Your rights, and how to use them

Under the DPDP Act you can ask for a summary of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, withdraw your consent, or nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Email hello@fitx1gyms.in with what you want – no forms, no fee – and we will reply within thirty days. Usually much faster; there is not much to look up.

If we’ve got it wrong

Tell us first and we will fix it – a word at the desk or an email both work. If you are still not satisfied, you can raise a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India, the authority set up under the DPDP Act.

Changes to this policy

If anything here changes, the new version goes up on this page with a fresh date at the top. We will not quietly move the goalposts.
